I've already got the threaded insert in the fender. I had to do that for the Mustang seat.

that's what i thought. getting a gel pad, or will the flame stitching help with he padding?

I skipped the gel and just stuck with the regular foam. Frankly I was worried with my weight that I would eventually destroy the gel and end up with a misshapen seat so rather than risk it I thought I'd be better off with the foam. I've seen some reviews say the C&C foam is pretty firm, which I am looking forward to.

I'm not sure if the stitching helps with the padding... hadn't really thought about that. I just felt like it looked a little too plain without some type of stitching or something and flames seemed like a safe and good looking choice.

I'm good most of the time. I did have some disc problems in my early 20's that required surgery and it still crops up now and then with a little pain either in my back or sometimes in one of my legs if it's screwing with a nerve.

I just bought a 2015 fat Boy Lo vivid black.I never owned a Harley before and I still can't believe it's really mine.Im getting a set of Vance and Hines slip ons installed so I haven't taken it home yet.All these pics of these mods are amazing. My last bike was 2002 shadow Sabre 1100 and it feels good making the jump to a Harley.
