It gets about 86 F here, sometimes a little warmer, but I try to head south for a trip every year. This year we are looking at going as far south as Arizona, possibly Texas.

They recommend that you remove the lowers somewhere around 60 F. I only really use them for rain.

Ride is planned to average 650-1100 miles a day. Some days long, some shorter. I want to ride, I have not been over the border since the accident, on July 11, 2014. I survived to ride again...

Just took the bike around the block with the apes on. Felt good. Brake lever felt a little spongy, buy it's hard to remember what it felt like before.

Could that just be from the longer hose or do you guys think I need to bleed them some more? I reverse bled them the first time, so there really shouldn't be any air in there, but I guess it's possible.

Give it a little time and see if it starts to feel better or fades more, I had the same kinda feeling when I changed my bars out. Mine felt better after a few rides or I got used to it can't say for sure. Everything feels different when the bars are changed so you may be a little hyper sensitive right now.

Took me 7 years to build the Bob, did the Lo in a year to get it to where I wanted it. Only major thing I want to do to the Lo yet is a set of cams. They will really wake up the 103.

Mother - There is probably still some bubbles in the master cylinder. When I replaced the last front brake line I spent the good part of a day pulling the brake lever every once in a while to get the last bit of air out of the master cylinder. I did this until the lever was no longer spongy. They will eventually bleed out them self into the reservoir.
