Thinking about adding brass accents to my bike but the wife thinks it will look stupid.
Thinking grips, gas caps, pull the tank emblems and get harley-davidson painted on in brass color, maybe pin stripes on the fenders, etc.

What do y'all think?

Duh! You just posted pics, don't know what I was thinking. I say do it. I was going to do some copper accent by changed my mind for ageing reasons, copper might look good 'till it turned green. I've seen brass an think it looks good and not as prone to "green out."

 

There have been a couple of guys that have added a little brass to their Lo's, Go to the top of the page of this thread there is a blue tab right under the page numbers. Use "search this thread" and enter brass, that may give you some idea of what it may look like. May be pretty cool with the denim black.

BTW, today I added 14" pillion, standard upright sissy bar, big ole back pad, and luggage rack to the tune of $692 bucks. Almost threw up typing that.
Kind of looks like crap but it is functional for long trips for sure. Wife likes it a lot better.

Definitely coming off for cruising around town. Next I guess I'll get a fender bib so I'll have the solo setup as well.

 

Thank you it's been a fun build, more parts on the way haha, the seat was done at a local shop where I live.

 

So I'm coming up on my 1000mile service pretty soon. I was wondering if there was services before that. Also, if anyone has all the service milage. My main question is if I should take it into the dealer or not... If anyone could help that would be great.

P.s. I added the Roland Sands Design 2 into 1 Slant exhaust last night and it sounds amazing.
