Yeah, I'm still trying to figure that out.

me again, quick question on mounting a sissy bar. It's a rigid so I won't be taking it off. Use existing hardware and mount under the fender strut or above?

Default New member and first HD!!

Hey guys. I've been trying to read this thread over the course of the past couple weeks. I've made it to page 891 and feel like I know a few of your already! My name is Tony and I've been riding since I was 14-15 yrs old (m 32 now). This is my first Harley though. I never really saw a Harley that I knew I absolutely had to have until I saw the Fatboy Lo at a independent dealership. There was a 2010 Denim with only 1200 mi on it and a 2012 vivid black with 3000 mi on it. I was set on the denim until I realized the 2012 came with the 103 motor and this one had aftermarket exhaust on it already as well and was only a $1000 more then 2010. I know this bike has a bit of chrome on it, but I couldn't pass it up as it was much a better deal overall. I have lots of questions, but I'll leave most of those for later, for now just wanted to introduce myself and tell you a few things I noticed that I'm assuming aren't stock..The chrome mirrors (I thought stock was black) obviously the exhaust (wish the previous owner would have opted for black). The big thing though. The pinstripes. I don't recall seeing any other lo's with these pinstripes before. Let me know what you all think. Also, fyi these are the dealership photo's.

I would think it would mount over the fender strutt. Just make sure you don't need longer bolts. The sissy bar if new should have come with new mounting hardware if needed.

Welcome to the club. Pin stripes were added as none were avail stock. Same with the mirrors. Good looking bike. You could always have the exhaust ceramic powder coated black. Mirrors could be powder coated as well. It all up to you just how much black out you want. My self personally like some contrast. Good luck and enjoy riding and modding it.

Oh and your lucky in that you only have the front fork reflectors to remove.

Glad I removed the reflectors during the winter mods!

When I am finished and post pics, I wouldn't want the Reflector Police chasing me...
