Finally...got my apes ordered. Went with 14" HCC true 1 1/4 bars with the cable kit pre-wired. Probably gonna take advantage of having some parts powder coated while the tank is off and what not. Post up some pics when it's done.

Thanks Fatburger. There are still a few more things to do. I guess it never ends.

Glad to see you up and riding again. I hope you guys are staying high and dry. I remember the floods back in 98. Waiting for some better weather here in WI so I can ride soon.

I just put some Mich Commander II's on the bike. Hope to get better mileage out of them. I got less then 6,000 on front and rear HD Dunlops.

Good luck with those. Lots of people swear by them. Yeah the rain quit as fast as it got here. Mid 70s last three days. I grew up in Iowa so I know from where you speak.

Default Here's mine

Added a pair of VH filter tune. Added the DK horn relocation kit and killed the reflectors And the fairing. Not the best pics ( my IPAD is old...) but you get the gist.

I've got 3 bikes in my garage right now and can't ride any of them. #thanksobama, i mean.. damn weather.

nothing on the Studebaker fits right.. I've had to grind, weld, cut, chop, hack, and bend damn near everything on that infernal truck..

but if there is a fluid that exists, odds are i can now tell you the taste of it. :'(

...a few more weeks...a few more weeks..

...oh i remember what i wanted to ask.. Has anyone used that VTwin Goodies Floorboard extender kit? I just remembered it was the only thing i really wanted to do to my bike this winter.

Jim I put those on my bike 3 years ago. I like them. They seem to relive some hip pain and pressure I had while riding by widening my foot and leg position.
