Calling all FatBoy Lo Owners
Sgt Jim, just went back and looked at your truck again, can't believe I missed that whole bottom line. Guess I sounded pretty stupid re-asking what you already just wrote. Sooo, to make it up to me for allowing me the opportunity to embarrass myself, how bout if you give me the Studi for a X-mas present? Please? Love that truck and I won't ask for anything else all year, I promise.
1950 3600 3/4 ton pickup
Could not decide on color, so went original.. Windsor Blue
Yea, wood bed and all. Inline 6 (stovebolt) granny gear and will do all of 45 or so...
I just finished something similar. Was a fun project. Too bad we weren't closer. Be fun to compare notes!
i run that same visor..but i did mine in black.
also, there's not much i want to do with my bike this winter except the vtwingoodies floorboard extensions, so here's a picture of my winter time filler:
1949 Studebaker 2R5. Runs, drives, just need to do some tinkering with the suspension and fix some rust/rot.
oh..i guess i'm also rebuilding my friends 1978 Honda CB750K engine since it's leaking like a sieve.. but that shouldn't be too bad. Fun times.

Thanks Steve! Looks like Santa is going place another gift under the tree!
I keep looking at the before picture (present) and keep wanting to add more! It took me 7 years to get the Street bob to where I liked it. Not sure I have that kind of patience!

Now to find the time to install my new primary, crank case and tranny covers I just bought. All in "winkle black" to take off the aluminum looking parts. Not going to "murder out the bike" but the chrome will definitely be an accent vs a staple.
Trying to decide if I want to plastidip or powder coat my lower forks.

Speaking of high beam buttons, this one has one of those on the floor as well. which is just to the left of the clutch pedal...exactly where i put my foot down every time. One of my little do-dads is to relocate that a bit further out of the way, haha.
