Got an upholstery guy at work who normally does aircraft seats, but does motorcycle seats on the side. He recovered the entire seat with upgraded leather, stitched in the Bar and Shield, and Black Ostrich leather on seat and pax seat. Be completely done tomorrow. I'm also getting a baseball stitch around the existing edges.

Well my fingers will be crossed tomorrow morning when I start the bike. I finally got the chance to install a new IAC. Hopefully it will fix the low idle problem I've been having for about six months now. I had to pull the tank to install it and managed to do it without spilling gas everywhere. I didn't do it according to the service manual when it comes to the fuel crossover line and I think it worked a lot better. A pic is included which should help illustrate what I did. I also took the time since I had the seat off to install a charging port for my phone. It's got enough cord to put it on the handlebars but I decided to put it on the support for the left passenger peg. That way I can plug in my phone and just stick it in the saddlebag. I think it looks better too. I wish I could start the bike right now but my wife would kill me. In my sleep if I was lucky, since our two year old and three month old are asleep.

 

So what is that? just a USB charger hooked up to the battery?
