For me, the street slammer bars had a good few inches of pullback so I'm not leaning so far forward. The reach with the stock bars was too long so I was leaning forward too much. It put too much pressure on my tailbone and really my shoulders I found when doing hard turns, it really pushed the limits of my reach. Now I'm sitting straighter, my shoulders don't ache after 30 min of riding, and the turns are more controlled. The height is slightly higher (in my opinion) than the stock bars but not too much to be uncomfortable.

Just to clarify: The Street Slammer bars should NOT require new cables, correct?

Default A Few Upgrades :)

Oh yeah, forgot about these. Here's a couple pics of a few upgrades. Detachable windshield, sissy bar, back rest, luggage rack and the smoked led brake light on the luggage rack.

Clutch and throttle cables are good. Need to replace front brake line only.

Default Thanks!

Thanks everyone for giving your input on the Street Slammer bars.

I've attached a PDF file (inside the zip file...) with the cable requirements for the Street Slammer Bars by model and cable style. I think this should be what you're looking for.

I'm interested in seeing how much your powder coating costs; I was going to send the same parts off when I got home and would like to compare.

Hey Dave real quick. I'm getting ready for my last mod, seriously , and need some input.
I'm getting ready to install the Shotgun Shock and wanted to know if I'm gonna have to replace the kick stand. I'm sure I'll have to, but don't know what I actually need to get.
Thanks in advance!!!

P.S. Palm trees are nice!
