That's not a bad idea. You don't want it to be too loud though so make sure you weld a nice baffle in there. What kind of pipes are those? Also how come you aren't done yet and don't have pics posted?

Alright, put pipes on a couple of days ago, and now I'm getting a check engine light. I'm off to search about it.

I would be looking into the O2 sensors. That's about the only thing with a pipe change that could throw a code.

I brought it to dealer and had them plug the damn thing in. They said it was throwing multiple codes. Front cyl lean, rear cyl rich, O2 front, O2 rear. I left it They're talking about calling HD and something about reprogramming ECM. My 94 NEVER did this to me. lol

I bet you that you connected the o2 sensors up back to front. Black connector should go to rear sensor, grey to front. The mistake matches your error codes perfectly. Best of luck

Peg20-Naw, they went back in in the right place. I made sure of that.

well, I got the bike back today. It was the rear O2 sensor. There was a hole (think crimped seam that opened) in the housing that was messing up the whole system. And the kicker is....NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY! It looks a little bent (thus opening the crimped seam) so, I guess I have to be able to accept that I "might" have hit it when I put everything back in place. I remember being especially careful with them but....anything's possible. Soooo, $185 later and it's running right.

That looks sharp Serjayson. What are you using as your pipes, bags and rear fender setup? What's the space like in the bags compared to the stock bags found on cruisers? Any issues with scrapeing on the twistes?

I recently bought a '14 Lo, and I didn't realize until after the (stock) shotgun pipes were going to be an issue. I pretty much killed my budget between the bike and the fairing (Dead Center with Sony S310 stereo and matching paint) so I ended up settling with the HD hard leather locking bags (pipes, bags and paint were gonna blow up my bank account). It works for now but its not the look I want in the end, and they are annoyingly small.
