Sorry for the double post...

Here's the thread I created in the Transmission section; it has a list of the work they recently did.

I went with C&C seats and a gel insert.

Page 5? Who let that happen? Well I'll fix it for us then. My new AC cover should be done by Tuesday, it's at the powder coaters right now along with a couple of acorns for the mirrors. I'm loving the new bags. I still have the Boss Bags Phantom 40s with piggy back pouches if anybody's interested.

I finally got around to installing the front end parts I have had since last spring. Extreme Machine Reaper wheels 21x3.5, Hawg Halters 4 degree tripple trees, Racetech Gold Valve Emulators and springs and a Klock Werks Benchmark front fender. Wanted to get them mocked up and test rode to make sure it all works before I sent anything out for powder coat and paint. I'm thinking about blacking out the rest of the front end???? Looking for suggestions......

Definately, I had the cowbells and lowers powdercoated when I did all my front end mods as well as the top tree and fork cover cap. Looks so much better. I think the best compliments are when it's an older couple saying they love my bike and asking questions about it. Makes me almost smile as much when I ride it.

Can anyone help? I wanna get Wild 1 black chubby apes 16". What diameter risers will I need? How gloss black are they compared to LA choppers Heftys? I know I can use my stock risers for the heftys but my lo is gloss black. I want the gloss black apes. Yes I've looked up both on their sites. They look gloss in some pics and flat in others. I just want some first hand biker's opionion. I will PC if needed but I'm trying to go as inexpensive as I can and still get quality. Thanks much.

I have a friend who has the Black WO509 CHUBBY 16"APES on his 09 Fatboy. They are a nice gloss black and it looks like all the Wild one bars are stepped down to accept 1" risers. I have the LA Chopper hefty 14" and they are gloss black and mount to the stock 1.5" risers. Hope this helps.

It does help. Thanx much. Wild 1s it is with the LA choppers cables n extensions. I was gonna order them after I cleaned the bike. I went out and noticed I need a new rear tire. After 4,500 miles the Dunlop sportmax Q2 is bald as hell. Now I can add the cost of a new tire to the dinero I'm about to dole out. Kinda wish I wouldn't have gotten the tire warranty now. It only covers Dunlops.
