I need to cut the wires so i can run them into the other bars. I want the Joker three buttons but I need to look into running the horn, high beam and the hazard switches somewhere else. I dont use them but need them for inspections. Also got bored and took off the upper and lower belt guards.

I'm sure you could rig up the horn, high beams, etc. to mount on the console, or even off the side like the existing trip toggle switch. You could even rig it so the switch looked the same.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to check and see where I have room on the bottom of the console for clearance for the switch.

Default risers

Ok Fatboy brothers-- I'm getting a little elbow pain on long rides so I want to try changing up my handlebar position - want to change the look anyways

Starting looking at different risers and came down to these two. I know one is HD and includes the bolts and top clamps but $100 difference?

http://www.jpcycles.com/product/214-222

Someone enlighten me as to which one I should get

I got the Harley ones and it did wonders for me. As far as the jp it looks like it's for the wrong bars anyway as the fatboy has 1&1/4 inch bars but I'm thinking by the time you get the top and hardware you'll be close to the same price anyway.

The current model stock bars are 1.25" so assuming that's what you have, the HD risers will fit. The JP risers are for 1" bars so won't fit

EDIT: beaten by 1 min :-)

Mmmmm. I missed that about the bar diameter, the website pulled those up as an exact fit and that the OEM clamps and bolts would also fit

And, my wife is scolding me for trying to "go cheap" on our baby
