I need one in black.
Easy enough to paint the chrome one. Self etching primer and a rattle can will take maybe 5 minutes

I wouldn't feel right if I shifted like I use to before the 6250 rev limit and all that. I take it easy on the interstate usually though. As long as it doesnt break before I build my 2nd bike I'll be happy.

Yesterday I decided I wanted to change the baffle in my VH 2into1. I like the pipes, but they are not as loud as I had with my Rush slip-ons. So, I removed the pipes and after a lot of work, got the baffle out. Now what?

1) I read that some are cutting the whole baffle down to 5".

2) Someone suggested taking the cap off to have open center. Not sure how to get to that center cap.

3) Get a Big Thunder baffle.

Anyone modified their 2 into 1's?

I've got the Big City Thunder Quality Quiet Baffles so I can't speak to how loud the regular Big City Thunder Baffles are. Having said that I can say that I'm very pleased with the quality and sound. I've heard that the regular BCTs are louder than stock and you'll still be getting the right amount of back pressure. The sound should also be a little deeper than the stock baffles

I got a reply from Big City Thunder about my 2 into 1. They sent a drawing about how I had to modify the existing baffle and insert their baffle into it. It requires some serious mod (grinding, welding), so it is pprobably beyond my capability. Bummer.

Wish I would have listened to you. Had a really bad experience with voodoo041672 (Patrick). Blamed me for the hole being tapped in the wrong location on the Primary. Really?

Well the inevitable is here. Basically I have to get rid of my apehangers and become legal before I can get promoted. So the options are drag bars or some variation of bikini/longhorn bars. I feel the longhorns will be my best bet. I'll probably do it all myself since I have to do it pretty soon and I'm short on cash. I have the service manual now so the only problems I see is resetting my abs and messing with the clutch cable. I have all the stock parts as well.
