Anyone on this thread need black denim fenders? I got front and rear brand new ones in my garage never installed. I also have a Kuryakyn laydown LED taillight, an eBay laydown license plate bracket (chrome), and Road6Customs vertical axle mount license plate bracket. Bought a street glide before I deployed last October and have this stuff laying around. Figured I'd ask you guys before starting a FS thread.

Yep that's the one for our bikes. You probably know this already but the bags are gonna hang lower than your rear fender.

So I'm digging these SMW wheels... http://www.southern-mc.com/brallewhset.html. Wondering how the machined aluminum (brushed) look would work on the Lo. Everyone seems to be going the black or black contrast cut route, so I haven't seen anything like this. I did a mock up in photoshop... thinking 21x3.5 in front and stock size in rear.
what do you think??

RWD cruiser fender stretches down perfect to flush with bags.

As long as that brushed aluminum matches the rest of the bike. I see it being a good choice.

Default Black out engine time

Hi.

I haven't posted in a while, but been reading. I am getting the itch to black out more of my 2012 FBL and wanted to get some advice. I was looking at the trans cover and primary cover. Also looking at the black fork. Seems the popular choice for buying these is voodoo on eBay. Also like the black brake/clutch handles.

How hard are these covers to install? Any special tools or tricks to install them? What other items can I black out? I guess handle bars and headlight trim ring too.

Just installed VH 2-into-1 a few months ago so will have to pop those off for the trans cover. Should have done that one then.

THanks for the tips.

I bought the black rocker covers td234. Love the look. You could also black out the shifter levers, shifter linkage and rear brake lever.

Okay, I am looking at the following:

Primary Cover
6-speed trans cover
cam cover
hand levers
brake pedal
shifter arm

I can get matte black or wrinkle black. I want matte on hand levers, and pedal arms. What about the 3 engine covers? Anyone seen these covers in matte or wrinkle? Who's got an opinion?

I bought my lowers from Voodoo....didn't even come close to matching denim black. Ended up powder coating locally with DuPont black magic.
