Default Replacement Shield help

I have a Nostalgic king size shield that needs to be replaced. HD doesn't make replaceable lexan for it. I've found Ceebailys, Rifle, and Clearview have replacement acrylic for the Nostalgic. I've seen the arguments about differences between polycarbonate and acrylic, but those don't seem to matter in this case as there just isn't a poly replacement available. The Ceebaily's and Rifle are both about the same $$, Clearview is about $50 more.

I'm trying to figure out which way to go. Are there any other manufacturers that I should be looking at? I don't want to buy a whole new shield if I can just replace the plastic for ~ $100.

Thanks

You might check out choppercycle, they've got a bunch of replacement shields.

Dr., it doesn't look like Memphis Shades makes replacement plastic for the Nostalgic shield. Don't suppose you carry any of the others?

nwbikerid, I checked chopperscycle, no dice either.

FYI, material really does matter. Acrylic will shatter, Polycarb (Lexan) will not...

Just be sure what you want, soft (windshields without hard coatings) will scratch very easily. The good news is you can often buff the scratches out. Hardened windshields are much harder to scratch.
All depends what you are looking for...
