Deuce VS Heritage

There are many differences .. They are not alike at all.
Width of front tire, handle bars, seat, stock accessories (especially bags & windshield), center of balance, feet position, rake...and of course price. They are both great bikes, and both ride like a dream. All depends on what YOU want.
Personally, I would choose the Heritage as a better 'road trip' kind a bike .. The Deuce, for more around town or shorter trips.

WOW! I thought I was the only one. I ran into the same dilema last year when I was looking for a "new" scoot. The Heritage will most definitely be the more comfortable of the two for distance riding. Across town, it's really not an issue cause the trip is short. Really you need to decide what you want and what you'll use the bike for, imo. If you're spending most of your ride time riding to rallies and what not, then the Heritage is the way to go. If it's shorter trips or bar hopping, I think the Deuce makes more sense. But both are good bikes for sure.
Seating position on the Heritage is more upright with the floorboards more mid-control position. That takes more weight off your butt/spine, which will give you a less stress on the ride. Heritage has those isolation floorboards also. Heritage has a windshield, and it's more upright than a Deuce windshield if installed. Wider front tire, rake & trail are more conservative on a Heritage...making it easier to handle. Heritage has that "old school" look too, in addition to the obvious stuff like saddle bags & whatnot.

Right on
I had a Deuce for 8 months and just traded it in for the Heritage. Night and Day difference!! Deuce was fun around town but as soon as I hit the freeway my body hated it. I have had the Heritage for two weeks and have done 400 miles without feeling anything. Amazing difference.

at 60 and needing comfort, the heritage is the all around winner for us..
we don't do long weekends or overnight trips but do ride 2-5 hrs daily when the Ind. weather is nice..
3yrs and 25k later we still love it,, not to big to putt around town or county, yet big enough to take her 300miles round trip out and back in a day....
