yes straight apes will fit...or even the ones that curve backwards like Carlini gangster apes. My buddy just put a wreckless on his Roadking. The fairing in its stock location/attachment points really places the fairing in a tilted slightly forward position. But yes they will work. I am actually putting one on my softail Fat standard glide bagger after I finish current engine work.

I really like the look of your V&H duals on the Heritage. After my son gets his money saved to do hard bags I'm gonna try to talk him into a set of the duals too.

 

I've read lots on the Batwing with Apes front and still have no Definitive answer.
Has anyone actually done it?
I think I'm just going to order the Carlini's and hope for the best....

 

I have 14inch gangsters and they work. Had straight apes and they worked too. All dependss on how forward you want to push them forward.

 

I am now officially a bagger;

 

Can you have them pushed forward to very near vertical?
