Default Bad dad fender with aftermarket brackets no good

So when I mounted up the bad dad fender above I noticed an issue.. the fender is great nothing wrong with that at all.... But aftermarket brackets make the stretched saddlebags sit 2 or 3 inches back too far past the fender.. I was trying to avoid buying the bad dad brackets because they are 410$. But when I looked you can see the bad dad brackets make the bags sit farther forward to be flush with fender. Here are pics. The 1st set of brackets are the one I have 2nd set is bad dad

Ok so for whoever is interested.. I contacted John at bad dad and he told me that his brackets amdaand fenders are designed for 2013 and below saddlebags.. so he said his brackets make the boxes sit toward the front of the bike more than your regular bagger conversion bracket's about an inch closer. So I had to buy the brackets to make my 14+ bags look decent with the fender. Brackets are almost ,400$

Reckless knock off. I don't know the actual manufacturer. I bought it off another user on the forums.

I'll pull it off and take a picture later. But the bolts that hold the nacelle are running through rubber grommets and the fairing attached to them.
