Softail Baggers Only...Pics please
#1021
Here is CycleVision.
I've searched numerous ways, and have sent messages to members like Josewales that have pics posted of bikes with hard saddlebag guards, but I haven't had any responses. I also posted this in the Fat Boy Lo thread a few days ago, but haven't had any replies, so I'll try here and see if anyone can help...
Winter Project - I'm looking to add a set of bag guards on my wife's 2014 Fat Boy Lo. The bags are stock Harley mounted with Cycle Visions Bagger Tail kit.
I can't find any good, real life pics of the Cycle Visions guards, and we'd like to know if anyone actually knows of a good set of hard bag guards - NOT leather bag guards - that will actually hold the bike up to protect her bags if she lays it down in a parking lot or such. Any real life knowledge (not just speculation) would be appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks Rez Rider. For the driver backrest I bent some pipe to the shape of the passenger backrest, and welded on some ears so it just hooks onto the seat rails. The pad is a Harley Deluxe passenger backrest pad, I wanted it to match the passenger backrest.
The passenger seat is the larger HD Deluxe passenger pillion.
The armrests are a Kuryakyn product,,,,I welded up a bracket that hooks onto the passenger backrest then ordered the Kuryakyn armrests, chopped them up and bolted them to the fabricated bracket. No tools needed to put them on.
My better half really likes them, and I want her to be comfy.

I went ahead and put the Cycle Vision guards on the wife's bike. Turns out that currently the only ones they make are designed for the 98-13 HD saddlebags, so they don't really flow with the angle of the 14's, and don't really stick out far enough to hit before the bag if she has an "Oops!" moment in a parking lot. I guess they'll have to work for now, unless I pay for a custom pipe bender, or until something becomes available. If anyone has further knowledge, please share. Thanks.
