Default Best way to be able to clean your bike alot..

Is riding without a front fender... Today we had lovely spring weather around 15 degrees Celsius, but with the snow still melting on the side of the roads, it getīs pretty messy on some roads, I learned that the front fender actually has a purpose

One of my friends keeps saying that you could put some tape or a scarf just above the front wheel, and this should help with the spray from the tire, anyone tried this?

I like detailing my bike, but not every day, I guess the front fender might go back on the bike.

Here is a couple of pics from the ride today.

Ride safe

Yeah... that's what that thing is for. Looks badass without it though.

With it on you won't have to lean to your side to avoid spray in the face all the time.

I totally agree that it looks better with the fender off, that is why I am trying to find some way to keep the spray to a minimum, hence my question about the tape between the forklegs above the wheel.

If anyone tried this I really would like to here about it, if not I will try it out and report to you guys, it seems there are alot of people who has gone the fenderless way.

Thanks for the input on my bike, apreciated!

I know some guys that carry a bandana with them and tie it across the forks above the front tire. They say it helps quite a bit.

It looks better w/o the fender, however there's a price to pay for that.
I'd ride with out it, though.
