Mine is quick disconnect, when Im riding solo, I dont want anything on the back. No seat, no sissy bar, no pillion. Since my sig pic, I have gotten a fender bib.

Well, thanks for all the replies. I think I'm going to leave it off. The more I look at it, the more I don't really like it as much. I rode for the last 2 days with it off and I like the clean lines of the bike without it or the rear seat on it better. So the bar and the rear seat stay off until my wife goes for a ride with me. I may stick the bar on there if I'm going to be carrying a bag or something so I can strap it down, but other than that, I'm really in love with that naked rear fender of the bike!!! I just need to get the fender bib on it now. Still has the shiny plastic protective tape on it, and I want to cover it up. Oh well, it's just more money! LOL.....

I got rid of the shiny clear tape years ago warm it with a hair drier and it peels right off. I line the pillion with a soft felt - no bib required.

PS mine is an original FB low

Bike looking good!

I have a quick release sissy bar for my Fat Boy Lo and only use it when the wife wants to ride, or if I need to throw a sissy bar bag to carry a few items.

How hard were the front black covers to install on the forks? I eventually want to get them for mine, love the complete black look.

Just installed the flush black gas cap/console and LOVE the look. Got the smoked tail light and layback license place on yesterday also. Waiting on some of the edge cut parts and I'll update my pic.

Your bike looks good but I would put a detach bar on so you can take it off when you ride solo.
