I am pretty short, although my legs do reach the ground so I can walk. I put factory bars on mine after stockers so they came back another 1" or so and look same as stock.

The way for YOU to find out if the stock bars are comfortable is for YOU to get on a Deuce and see for yourself. What is comfortable/good looking is highly subjective.

To my eye the only bars that look right on a Deuce are the stock ones but there are plenty of choices. A word of caution on factory HD "aftermarket" bars, they are chrome, not polished stainless, and like most HD chrome it rusts so they should never be ridden in rain or direct sunlight or hazy days...in fact if you leave them stored in original wrap and box that is OK if you add a desiccate to keep the humidity down. I like the factory bar, they are comfortable. But I'm going to get some drag bars that are about the same height because they look better.

Went to 14" chubbys 2 months ago and they are much more comfortable....

I'm fine with the stock Deuce bars.

I like the stock bars as well, but I added the Joker Machine 8" straight riser. brought it up to about a 12" mini ape height. Much more comfortable for me, but I'm 6'5". Been running that setup for nearly 3 years. Now I just change the bars out to a custom built twisted Z bar. gave me a little more height but I'm not sure they look right on the bike. I'll have to snap a pic of it and post in the near future.

Stock bars just don't work for me on a long day; 5'-10", 32" inseam. Ness Ram Lo or Ram Hi depending on how much rise/pullback you want. Have put in many 500 mile days with no comfort issues.

These are old pics; several changes since these were taken but the bars are still there and you can see the difference between stock and aftermarket. Stock bars pulled me forward too much for distance comfort.

Just got my 16s today but won't have my cables for two weeks so I'm playing the waiting game but I'll post pics as soon as I can. I got some 3 inch risers cuss a dude at my shop gave em to me for 20 bucks but I'm a short guy at 5"9 and they sit just perfect at shoulder heitght. I'll add pics later with bars on without grips.

There's a pic of my Z bars & 8" risers in my signature. The Z bars almost match the stock rise & pullback. i just tipped them forward a little for more height and reach.
