Default Ape-hanger for '02 NT?

I want to install ape-hangers on my '02 Night Train. I just want something decent, nothing too big.
Any ideas or recommendation as far as size?

Tom

I'm 6'0" tall.
24 inches from armpit to hand (palm).

I'd say 16" bars. It also depends on what risers you go with too. I went with 14" bars cuz the hand height is still just below my shoulders( I'm 5'8"). Road 6 Customs (R6C) 16" bars will have your hands at 14" from the clamp/riser, even though they 16" tall. I've seen a set of the R6C 16" Zbars on a Nighttrain. They look sick! The bars are very good for the $. $160.00 shipped. Unless you do the work yourself plan on spending close to 1K for new cables, bars and labor. His bars do need the internal welds filed down cuz they had sharp edges to them that would've cut into the wires at some point but thats it. Check him out road6customs.com

I say 16"'s as well. I am a mere 5'9" and roll with 16"'s all day long. I spent a lot of money on shorter apes first and then did it all over again. All I can say is make sure you get the right height the first time or you will be spending twice as much.

RyanC I've noticed some of your other posts bout the R6C bars and they've made my short list but I'm leaning towards the King Apes. So my question to you is can you round up a pic of the NT you've seen with the 16's on it that you speak of? That would be a huge help.

Scheers, check out yldtang's profile. He has a SB with 12" R6C Bars. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of a NT with those bars. I saw the bars on that NT at my indy shop. They just finished intalling them with joker risers. Real clean looking too. The Nt owner was outta town so all I got was a peek at em. Yldtang has pics of his SB with them on. The R6C owner Seth was working on getting good cable kits together from a lead I gave him. He may have kits ready by now. It was almost two months ago that I hooked him up. road6customs.com has customer's bike pics on it. There is a SB and a softail with his Zbars on. Let me know if I can help any further.

Cant go wrong with some good risers and Mini Apes, not a whole lot of NT's out there with the set up either. (At least not that I've seen.)
