Default Installing Backrest Hardware - Help Needed

I am attempting to install a detachable backrest on my 09 FLSTF, it says to remove the two stock fender bolts. The bolts look like they have a large star head and of course I don't have one in my tool box and none of my hex sockets will fit it. What size is this torx head or will a certain hex head do the job?

Default Torx

Those bolts are a T-45 Torx head.

I just had all of that apart and back together in three beers and I don't hurry.

The hardest part is probably breaking those strut bolts free.

If you can get one get a hand impact punch. I stripped 2 of the bolts on mine since a gorilla must have put mine in. I got the impact tool tapped it a few times and it came right out no problem.

Holy crap!

It's actually a pretty simple job, I can't believe they charged you for 2-1/2 hours.
