I got my pulley chromed when I put my chrome wheels on. It cost me $250 to get it chromed. I like to have the real deal instead of just the cover......my preference only.
the only way to tell the differance is if you you are looking through a spoked wheel from the right side you will see the back of the black pulley when using the cover. I use the cover and wouldnt dream of dropping 4bills on the pulley.
Ah, right, thats the difference. But for $50 at tire change time, not a bad way to go.

This is the excat reason I went with the Chrome Pulley -vs- the cover... If you have custom wheels you can see the black side of the pulley even better than if you just had spokes. On my 03 FXST I had everyting chrome back there except the pulley at first (they didnt offer the pulley when I bought my wheels) and it drove me nuts so I just sent my stock pulley in to a chrome exchanage place and it looked great!
