That's why I went with Bubbas mounts. They are detachable and nothing will mount your bags closer to the fender (about 1/2 inch).

I got the brackets on yesterday and took a picture today it is raining I will get a better one when I can take the bike outside. The bags don't stick out to bad I can live with it.

Is that a firehouse custom driver backrest? How do you like it? Was it worth the money since some cheaper ones on ebay are like $45.00?

yes it is and I couldn't imagine life without it now absolutely one of the best mods I have done yet. well worth the money.

I like the fact i can the bags off in a second when I go to wash the bike just a simple turn of a key. Well worth the money for sure.
