I am going to swap my set of 12" apes for a set of Wild1 chubbies w 8" rise, 11.5" pullback, & 30.5" wide. What are the odds I will have too much cable left over from the original ape conversion or would I have had to get longer cables and wiring for the new drags regardless?

My guess is that the cables you have now will be to long. Hopefully someone will chime in that has some seen this swap
before.

 

Apon further review I am almost positive they will be to long. I just looked at them on Wild 1's web site and that confirmed it for me.

 

Thanks for the insight. That's the answer I was afraid of. Luckily, I have all my original cables and harnesses. I just wanted to avoid that step.
