Unhappy Is the marriage doctor in?

Guys I need some experience here. I know there is going to be a bunch of wise asses out there having fun with this so bring it on. But for you guys that understand where I am coming from please help.
So here goes, my wife and I used to ride a lot together. She loved riding as a passenger when we first met. Did a lot of 2 up trips. Then the kids came and we stop riding for 10 years. A few years ago I bought a Harley to get back into riding. She won't ride the Harley with me. She hates it. She wants nothing to do with it. The other day while looking at the used inventory online of my local HD dealer there was this Honda ST1300 sport touring bike. She happen in my office and I showed it to her. She says "NOW I WOULD RIDE THAT"!!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH

Now she asked when we can go look at it. What to do, what to do??

ST1300 is a great sport bike but how would that be more appealing for 2 up??

Did she say what she doesn't like about your current ride?

Exactly...I wouldn't want to be the passenger on the rear of a Fat Boy, at least not for very long.

Other than that, I would ask the same as above: Why not a Harley? Is it too loud? Vibration? Image? What makes one bike better than another for being a passenger, other than something obvious like a Sporty vs. an Ultra?

Totally agree with this comment. I guess id flat out ask her "why not" and see where it goes from there. As for the Honda...(i prefer harley no matter what), the wind feels the same no matter what you ride.

Find out her reasoning.Just remember lots of wives not only don't want to ride but they don't want you riding either.Buy her some flowers .

Well your wife "should" be more important than the motorcycle you ride. If you can't convince her to get a more comfortable Harley for her to ride with than go for the metric if that's what will make you both happy. I'd hate to go through life never riding with my wife EVER because I wanted a bike that she wouldn't ride on.
