Thanks up front for the info.
Have taken one 1500 mile ride and plan another this year on my X bones. Properly configured, it's a comfortable motorcycle.

did a quick little search and people apparently like the dna springers. that being said someone else on this forum could have taken a mean spill due to the shady craftsman ship on their wheels. i know that front ends and wheels are two different things but a company that makes one thing that isn't so great i am just not sure i would trust the rest.

Ok, my wobble problem is fix now, neck bearing was the solution. For info I have balanced both wheels and change the back tire. The neck bearing was very loose. Now it is ready to roll, thank for the info and the suggestion.

I do not have a X but love my springer, the ride is great and the look is awesome.

Cheers

Harley Service Manual says to use special tool for adjusting neck bearing on Xbones, but most dealers won't sell it as it is supposed for inhouse use only.

you can get it from a couple of online tool shops:

Default crossbones

i am 6'4" and am thinking of the cross bones and i'm wondering if i'm to tall for the cross bones. had neck surgery and can't test ride one, but can get a great deal on one. don't know if i should buy it without a test ride, or will it fit my body.

I'm 6'1" and the stock setup is a little uncomfortable for me. I plan on changing the fender/seat, but I ordered the extensions from Harley Goodies as a starting point.

From what I've read other tall guys change the seat and find the ride is much more comfortable for them. A guy over on V-Twin said he went with a Mustang seat, the extensions and was good.

I love my Xbones, old school looks with new school technology best of both worlds in my opinion. Oh Ya, been waiting to smoke a Dyna since my upgrade...lol
