these boomeragns are on a 2006 Deluxe, and the peg mounting holes ARE covered.

You are absolutely correct... the picture shows the peg hole covered... with a bolt.

Thanks - do you know if the covers come with that nice big chrome bolt which covers the hole? or do you buy that separately? Is there a part # for those bolts/covers?

They do not come with the bolts, you will have to buy those separately.
