Riding with the stock seat only and a thin leather fender bib I felt like I was going to slide off the rear when I nailed it.

So having gotten the touring seat for when the wife ride, I took the stock rear pillion and cut it down (narrower) and a little lift for back support, then had it recovered to match the bags..

love the support it give for the back and the look too.

Timberwolf doesn't make them anymore. Tim says he can't get the matching brown anymore.

Not sure if anyone brought this up but, do these cover the plastic film? Or do I have to remove it. Sometimes wifey likes to ride and I have to switch to my 2 up stuff and I don't want to scratch up my fender when I do.

That's the way I felt with the stock Heritage seat. Very comfy, but looking at it sideways, it's almost flat! One of the reasons I swapped it out with a Deluxe seat. You sit down in it more and feel more secure.

Yes, the full size ones do. There's kinda pointy ones out there that don't though. Myself, I took the clear protector off (took the bib off too) and can plop the clear thing back on when I need it.
