Default looking to chop

i am looking to chop my rear fender from my big *** fender down to a fender that looks like the street bobs fender to give it more of a bobber feel. anyone have any suggestions on how to do it myself?

yep easy as pie get yourself a dremel tool and a cutting wheel nitebobber08 has some pics of what we did to his fender and soon mine will post the pics when i bob mine only thing you really need to do is tape off the section you want to cut and follow the line and if you want to prctice just cut lower than you intend on the fender

How do you handle the finish along the cut? Are you repainting them?

when i did mine, repainted whole fender. But in some cases just touch up paint works as well.

Someone in the Dyna section had a posting on fender chopping a long long time ago. I think it was speical eddd.
