I used the Kury 4859. It does all that plus pulses 3 times when the brakes are applied. Only diff. is that you have to buy the redlenses separately.
Just bought the Cycle Vision product.

Great visibility at night and l like the 3 pulse action.

Becareful, the HD Factory Website shows the wrong part number for the Deuce.

69465-06 Bullet Style Lens (THIS ONE FOR DEUCE)
Fits '00-later FXSTD models. (Does not fit with saddlebags.)
MSRP US $49.95
And the picture for Bullet Style Lens has saddlebags on it...

"Rear Running Lights makes me want to bash in the skull of the rider I'm following with them on

Maybe with an aluminum baseball bat with steel train track spikes welded on

Heh, I got the converter that just does the T/S into brake lights...

if I was to upgrade that one, I'd consider the one that blinks the brake lights 3 times every time I hit the brakes.. but absolutely no rear running lights
confuses the f' out of people riding behind (usually) "

I installed the same unit in June and this is one of the replies I received......by the way I think it's a grate upgrade for the $$$

so hey, great idea fellas. so that means we can side mount our licence plate, and ad a second (two) tail, break lights.. right? for saftey yes or no? im thinking of adding that hogpro fender, side mount the licence plate and now, make the rear blinkers, taillight and blinkers in one.

I thought i read that the one for the deluxe or any other bike with bullet turn signals is not DOT approved. Not that would stop me from buying one. More lights the better.

Have had it for a couple years now, but my buds always bitch that they are too bright and looks like the brakes are on all the time.

I agree with you. I have the Kuryakyn Panacea system on my bike, so my rear turn signals are amber when acting as turn signals and running lights, and red when acting as brake lights.

Cheers!

Can anyone confirm this? I didn't think HD would sell it if it wasn't good to go with the law.

My other question is why any state DOT would NOT approve this. Cars have three brake lights, why not bikes?
