Well, I finally made the plunge a few weeks ago and bought my first Harley. After many years of motocross, it is time to transition that to my little one and watch him race. I still ride with him, but wanted to get back to a street bike.

I bought the Fat Boy Low a few weeks ago and it is ready to come home now that the weather is supposed to be nice and almost all the parts are on.

I did a bunch of stuff to make the bike more black, including changing the console to one off the night train. Remaining items I am waiting on is a black headlight visor, rear tailight in black trim, and a lay back license plate in black. Having those powder coated since I couldn't find them already done.

Been lurking on here for weeks and finally felt I can post I picture.

Cool. I love those drag bars on there. I think that is the first Lo i have seen with those. And I see you pc'ed the lower legs right off the bat. That is something I always though should have been stock on the lo.

 

good luck with your bike. i have the fatboy lo so far back rest is going on soon. i put rush slip on mufflers on.....i keep my bike preety stock. this week-end i bought the dar custom timing cover i will leave the flat black derby cover on. this is it for now lol......

I almost pulled the trigger on the new lo. I love the denim black. But, couldn't quite manage the $18,000 price tag (after tax/license) so I reverted to a 2006 Fatboy (in black however).
