What oil weight do you use?
Beside all the different brands of oil available, What synthetic "weight" do you use in your engine? Any preference? SAE 20W-50 or 60.
I use Amsoil SEA 60 on my 2005 88 with upgraded cams and an oil cooler..(prior owener began using this weight)..

I forgot to add in that we service all Harleys in our shop with only Amsoil 20w50 grade all year round. Additionally, we ONLY run Amsoil 20w50 in our own bikes. Nothing but the best for our customers and our own bikes!

I only run a straight weight in my Shovelheads because thats whats always been recomended but in the Twinkies I run 20w50 (Amsoil). I wouldn't run a straight weight in them unless I lived southern/hot climate, no good for Wisconsin.

Redline 20-50 here.
From what I have been told and read, 20-60 can be used for extremly hot climates.
