Default FLSTSC Seat on FLSTN?

Anyone have a Springer Classic Seat on their Deluxe? If so, how does it look with the back rail sicne the skirt is smaller, or dod you take the rail off? I'm thinking of buying one and know it has to be more comfortable, but would like to see how it looks (I want to keep my rail and backrest). I already have the Springer Classic bags and love the way they look.

Thanks!

No, but I have the Deluxe seat on my springer classic. The stock springer classic seat is pretty boring. Are you thinking of the Heritage Springer (1997-2003) seat with the bigger seat rail?

LOL...no. I was actually looking at the Sprigner Classic with the smaller basket weave. I figured it is a better shape. The Heritage Sprigner weave is nice but then I'd have too much going on.

if the deluxe seat is more comfy, that springer seat must be awful. I ditched my deluxe seat in favor of a heritage classic seat, way more comfortable.

actually no. my oldest son is gonna teach me how to post pics. anyway its just the stock 07 heritage seat and it bolted right on my 07 deluxe. it slide me back off the tank an inch or so and the padding is way better. you can find new take offs on e-bay for a song.

The Classic seat does look nice but I don't think you can have the bar. It mounts to the seat and don't think there are provisions on the underside of those to mount the handrail, you'd have to do some fabricating. I like the deluxe seat but would like the Heritage Springer rail for my wifes. I think the stock seat is too hard myself but the wife says its OK for her and it is hers so.....

billy is correct,I did have to loose the rail which I wasnt to happy about but the added comfort got me past that on the first ride. good luck with your search deluxelady, Ive found that the search for the perfect seat is one of the most difficult. you gotta buy it to know, and if it aint your cup of tee then your stuck with it or selling it for a loss, which gets expensive.
