Default Moving with bike in truck bed/Temporary Rain Sock??

I'm moving from TN. to AZ. tomorrow, and need a temporary rain sock fix; as I might possibly hit some rain. Any ideas that on what I might use or do without damaging the paint on air cleaner? Here is the air cleaner I have.

If your not riding it (being in the back of your truck) I would just wrap it up tight with plastic wrap if you are worried about it.

An el cheapo car cover from walmart wrapped real tight with tape so as to prevent flapping and chaffing the paint and other items that are delicate. Wrap it tight as heck
If your like me don't don't want all that road film in every crack and crevice to contend with on cleaning. Especially since you got all that furniture to move in who wants to clean the bike in the same process?

Great idea! I'll do that. Possibility for heavy rain, and just want to be safe...

No No for sure just wrap up the air filter. I hope I did not imply the whole bike.

That said make sure when you use your tie down straps you are real careful about where you place them. The bouncing in the back of your truck WILL wear out paint and chrome QUICK!

Good luck!

That would be hilarious to see people's reactions! I haven't had to... YET... I heard the rain sock that RSD makes to fit it fits like a wet diaper.

Thanks BSD! No you didn't imply that. Sure would be funny to see though!! I bought some nylon straps for the hooks to secure the STOCK bars, and when I land in AZ. I am having my new bars put on.

Good luck in your move to AZ. I'd wrap the whole bike up with a plastic tarp like Rocky mentioned or get one of those HD covers made for transporting. I'm **** when it comes to these kinds of things...lol...Enjoy your new home in AZ!
