The ride is about the same except for on the really big bumps in the road. Those, you have to watch out for.
Lowering the rear made the front end have a little more rake so slow speed moneuvering is not as easy and you really have to watch scraping your heal or pegs. That being said, i ride pretty aggressively since i have been riding sports bike for 20 years. I use every bit of my bike tire.
Your everyday rider probably wouldnt notice the little more scraping.
I love the way it looks and i love the riding position since they have been installed

One thing I avoid on my heavy *** Slim is apex entrance speed. No problelm slidin the rear, but aint no way you're savin a front end slide.

Had a buddy go down in a parking lot yesterday because of the front sliden. He was coasting into a space and turned on gravel. The front end went right out from under him and he went down. Cat stop it once that front gets loose.
