I've now done several hundred miles with these on.

def more comfortable, my legs are more relaxed on a trip

I was most worried about scraping my boards, but honestly i just dont lean that drastically. I have a buddy who tosses his bike around like a stripper ... he would destroy his boards if they were any further from the bike.

But for me, its fine.

In fact I hit a few deep turns and purposely leaned a bit more into it to see what it was like to scrape, it scared the beejesus out of me!! and I now my board has a rough spot.

All in all, id recommend this as an upgrade to anyone who rides normal and doesn't lean like they are riding a ninja lol

Put these on my 2011 model Fatboy yesterday. Simple installation but a world of difference! These have probably saved me the price of a new seat as I was convinced it was causing my discomfort. Much more legroom (I'm 6'2"). The quality of the parts is also of the highest standard.
I also have to mention the customer service. These arrived at my door less than a week after I ordered them! To IRELAND!
I have had no scraping issues so far but then I find my FB to be quite high anyway, especially compared to the 2001 heritage my girlfriend rides.
Cant recommend these highly enough.

Anyone try installing these on the front mount only, and leave the rear mount as is? This would flare the floorboards out at an angle.

After being recommended by people here I thought I'd give them a try. I was worried about the lack of cornering clearance that my 2011 Fatboy already has. Well, much more comfortable riding position and when I do scrape the floorboards now I think I would have been scraping them anyway without the extensions. I like them!

Anyone have detailed pix of their installation? For two bolts per side I'm having a hard time figuring this out!

I only see up to 2011 models for softails. Do those also fit the 2012?

Use the stock bolts and the new bolts which makes 4 bolts per side. Stock bolts go in stock location.
