I have an 06, and if I were selling $12,200 is where I would list it. Probably take a little less, but I have thousands of dollars in mods done. So, as said above, $12.2 is a good place to start, but I think if you can get them to $11.5 then it's a great deal. $12.2 is probably a fair deal if they throw in some free services or something. Then again, are you going to let $700 keep you from getting the bike you want? IMHO, the 9000 mile bike is a better deal.

Careful with some of those CL adds. Lots of scams right now... Does this bike look familiar? lol

Go down to your bank and get 11,500 in hundred dollar bills. Ask for the salesman to get the sales manager and when he gets there put 11,000 on the desk in cash. If he says no put another 500 down and see what he says then. There is something about cash that talks more than checks even though they spend the same. I have bought a lot of stuff using this method. One more thing. Don't loose the bike you want for 700 bucks. You'll regret it. Good luck.

glenalt,
I'm not sure that cash deal is as enticing to a dealer as it is to a private party. They are really hoping some sap will come in and want to do the Harley financing (and at the asking price no less). And since the dealer has already paid for the bike and prolly isn't hurting for $$$, there is no sense of urgency. At least that is usually the way it goes.

I think it's a tad high. If you look around you could probably find an 07 or 08 with the 96" and six speed for not much more. I would have sold mine for 13,000 up to a week ago, but my engine sould be arriving at Hillside today, so I'll be keeping her awhile now. Have seen several 07's & 08's listed locally for 13,500 to 14,500 starting price.
