Still trying to figure out how to get the case off.

I was hoping to get it back together this weekend but none of the local motorcycle shops have the correct belt. Looks like I am going to have to order one. Ugh!

Got it all torn apart, now just trying to find the belt. I have called a bunch of the shops in Wisconsin, no luck yet.

I was able to find a belt this weekend at Al Muth's Harley Davidson in Black River Falls.

I started assembling this weekend and tonight. Now I need a rotor spacer. The belt as it sits is rubbing on the tire. Its currently on a stand so I dont even want to see how it is when the tire is on the ground with the weight of the bike and a rider.

Looking at your pic the belt needs to be moved out on the transmission end or the wheel has be offset toward the brake to be aligned. Measure at "A" and "B"

Got one of the new frame horns welded on. Need to drill the holes yet but that will come in time.

Ended up buying a Drag Specialties .0475 in. Rotor Spacer. Had to modify it a little by grinding out the bolt holes and the center hole. Spacing for the belt seems to be good now.

We welded on the other frame horn last night. Put the wheel on to see how it all fit and everything looks good. It is finally sitting on the garage floor supported by itself. Need to drill out the holes in the horns yet, then it should be good to go.

Wow nice work. So it can be done. When you done you should list some parts and if you dont mind the bottom dollar.
