Default crackle, crackle, POP !

ive noticed after my dyno tune job, my bike likes to backfire now alot more than it ever did before, not all the time, but if i ride in 2nd or 3rd at an even speed, then get out of the throttle, it will most often crackle alot, and even pop, backfire, question is, is this due to running to rich now after the tune, and what kind of damage could i be doing to my scoot?

You got a bad tune, I would take it back and have them do it again, at their expence. With a good tune there should be no backfires and excessive pops

Or you have an exhaust leak, or both.

it is not right. if it started after the tune then take it back. if before then fix the issue. something could have broke or come loose but then it would be in all gears. my guess is the tune. but they may be something they had to do to make other place run better. what fuel management are you using?

it has a sert installed, and it doesn't backfire all the time, but it never did before the tune, and there definatly is alot more crackle after letting off the throttle, wich doesn't bother me as much, as long as im not doing any damage to anything, the backfire is what bothers me the most
