Default Removing pillion seat and rack on Deluxe question

I just pulled the pillion seat and rack off the rear fender of my Deluxe. Do I just reuse the screws/bolts that held the seat and rack in place and put them back in the fender?

Or is there some kit you can by with nice low profile thumbscrews or something.

Thanks.

you can get little plugs from the dealer they have chrome ones and black ones. if your scoot aint black and Im betting it isnt chrome, you can paint the top of the plug to match your fender

I went to Ace Hardware and got standard washers and chrome bolts to use with the rack by itself or bare fender.

I'm using the chrome ones on mine. They are plastic so I add teflon tape to the threads so they don't vibrate out.

I used the same but noticed they tear into the paint if your not carefull...I went to a fender bib soon after i spotted the blemishes caused by these plastic chrome plugs.

I went down to the local auto parts store and picked up some black plastic plugs that fit flush with the fender. It's an easy fix and will just set you back some pocket change.

Bought a fender bib from HogDeluxe that came with nice chrome acorn nut at back of seat and flush ?hex bolt. Nice finished look! Btw, if thinking about a fender bib, this particular bib also includes a nice extra piece that covers the plate at the rear of the seat...also adding to the finished look. Just a thought!

They are 1/4"-20 bolts. I grabbed some black chrom button head Allen bolts and some acorn nuts to fill the holes and seat studs. Looks good on my black fender.
