S100 is not good for the denim paint. Its in the HD bulletin for denim paint. I actually have the stuff, used it ones, didnt really like it. Left a lot of spots on the non-denim. Im like you, I use Windex for spot cleaning, and once in awhile I use dish detergent (HD bulletin), but usually the Windex will do the job. For all other parts on my night train, PIG SPIT works wonders.

S100 is good stuff, but it's pricey and you have to use lots of rinse water to prevent spotting.

Honda Brite is the exact same product as S100 and it costs much less. (S100 is listed on the label.)

dead bugs..... wet a couple old towels with hot water and slap them on where the bugs are, let them sit while you go get your washing stuff ready.

I use turtle wash and wax and a mitt, simple green on the motor if needed, hose off good, and back pack leaf blower. microfiber towell for any little drops, and chrome. I've used pledge, pig spit, and mcguires. If you get the bike good and clean, any of the above will mike it shine nicer.

I have used S100 bike wash, S100 engine black, and an S100 chamois on my bike for over 4 years. I have never used a leaf blower... I only dry off my tins, pipes, and the chrome on my forks when I'm really worried about the shine. Since I have a nightrain it was my desire to ride on and wax off... and that's what I have done. I give it a good cleaning and waxing once a year. The bike looks great. As for blow drying, if you never get your bike wet in the rain, well, then I suppose that would be important to you. The only rust I have is on the cheapo chrome bolts that I bought from Harley. To fix that, I got some black paint and used a Qtip to paint inside the hex heads and torx bits... as long as I don't wrench on the bike, they look fine, too.

Yeah, I use fingernail polish in them that matches the bike. $1 at the dollah store! It doubles as threadlock. Dang, I'm a cheap bastid, huh?
