Default Safer on a Harley

I have decided that riding my bike is safer than driving a car. I'm leaving the Toyota in the garage.

I always feel safer on my bikes, than in a cage. If you are alert and always have an "escape route" you can go around problems that you'd hit, or would hit you in a cage.

I don't care about Toyota. My dad fought the Japs in WWII. I try to avoid Jap products out of respect to his memory. I know you can't avoid it with electronic and a ton of other stuff. Maybe "Consumer Reports" isn't as accurate as some people think. They always bad mouth our stuff and hype Jap cars. I'll keep my Harleys and my Chevy truck. RIP Dad.

Watch out at the green light. It could be a Toyota coming to the red light.

I agree; I'm sure that the statistics would show that a car is safer...but I sure can't argue with the thinking.

I know #@$% can happen but if you just keep as much space around you as you can riding can be very safe.

I assume the OP was referring to the recent safety recalls for Toyotas.
