Fatboy or Heritage Classic...
I like the lines of the Fatboy and the included items on the Heritage Classic. I just don't like all of the studs on the HC.
Is there that much difference between the 2 bikes? Don't they have the same frame and engine? I like the hidden electrical wires in the handlebars that the Fatboy has.

most all the differences are cosmetic....
The heritage has:
Windshield
highway lights
different location of turnsignals
different front fender
different wheels
Bags
... you get the idea
all of which can be added to the fatboy.....
one big difference that is not so easily changed is that the fatboy has a much wider rear fender and tire....
but yes, same motor, same frame. i like them both... but i also like studs

Studs what studs??? I don't have studs.....I mean not over 300 of them
If U don't like them thats fine, I wouldn't buy a bike I didn't like the looks of. period.
the newer FB has a 200 rear tire and the Heritage has a 150..
should ride very similar, but I like the mini apes better, for me the little extra height of the bars is a lot easier on my back, shattered a vertebrae yrs ago..
So far the 200 rear tire is not lasting as long as the 150,, One would think it would but most are getting 6-7k on the bigger one, and 10-11k on the 150. That don't make sense, but its just that way.
I am over 60 and like the (leather-spot-fringe) kind of look that most younger riders don't care for.. My son don't really either.
the shield is another item I ride with, had them for yrs and my last 6 bikes, tried to ride without it but for me I prefer to use it on all but the short, low speed rides on really hot days.. Others hate them..
Get what feel comfortably and looks good to U.. U can always change the Ergo to make it fit better, seat, bars, floorboards, ETC...
good luck and ride safe..
Here my album with a couple pix if U want to see the different way I can make her lookll
