I like the benefits of the large front fender on the HC, but I like the looks of the front fender on the FB.

I have my Heritage set up with quick release everything! In a matter of minutes I can strip her down put a different seat on her and I have a new bike. IMO it's the best of both worlds.

Default Bag brackets

Which removable brackets did you get? The removable side plates? I just installed those but I am not sure what to do about the bag mounting studs. Guess I can always unscrew them when I ride without the bags...
BTW I also agree. Except for the wider tire the Heritage
can come close to the Fat Boy look when you strip it down.

Seriously though.... The only thing I dislike about the HC , is spokes . Trust me , my bike has spokes , and they're a sumbich to keep clean . Plus , with solid wheels , it's a lot easier to repair a flat on the road side .

i've got a 2000 fatboy. over the years i've added everything that the heritage has other than the fender trim stuff. i never have been a fan of all the chrome spots. i like the tubeless tires on the fatty. all in all it would probably have been cheaper to have bought the heritage. the newer 200 series tire/rear fender really doesnt do it for me. i'd go heritage like most others have said. steve
