Went to Daytona today to get the Boss bags Stiffener kit installed as they are there for bike week. My Heritage a has the quick release bags and when the young lad took the bag off he scratch my exhaust because he wasn't paying attention to what he was doing. The nick is about an inch long but i was PISSED TO THE MAX! My bike is not brand new but I just bought it 1.5 months ago with only 291 miles on it. I dropped a bunch of F-bombs but that was simply because its lost it's virginity now and it wasn't me who done it. What would you have done if that happened to you?

 

I'd have cussed myself for letting ANYONE else touch my bike. Ever.

 

Funny that you say that because i was going to take the bags off but while i was emptying out the bags and getting something out of the box I put my stuff in i lifted my head and he had already been at the bike and it happened when i was walking over to tell him to stop.

 

I would insist that they buy me a new exhaust shield.

Yeah would have been pissed. I know I was when I first scratched mine. Hope this will be your last scratch. I would expext some $ off the stuff you had done.
