Default Points cover issue

Looking for simple way to maybe "rig" a points cover to my 07 nightrain....I bought this awesome points cover from Death Machine Corpus and it only has two holes and my bike takes a five hole points cover.....I am thinking the two holes that are on the new one will be off a little but maybe not if I am lucky....Any advice as how to make it work if the holes do not line up without drilling new holes...I will try almost anything except returning it....

On a twin cam the points cover is only cosmetic. Drill away.

A buddy of mine does casting at the same locale as chopperdave (who casted that DMC FTW cover you speak of). PM me if you want his info...he can make you up a custom one in the same style for a very reasonable price, prob less than you paid for that one. He does most of the plates for car clubs and such, and is looking for bike cover work. I love that one you have though!

Sure, you make a plate to mount it to,make the plate to go were the 5 hole cover goes, then make two more holes for the point cover you want to mount. !
