Tire Inner Tube for 150/80x16
Need a rear tire and also want to replace the tube. The two places where I would like to purchase the tire do not have the exact tube for my tire - 150/80x16. I read that you can go either larger or smaller in tube size be 15mm's. So a 140/80x16 would work on my 150/80x16 tire? But, the rim size must stay the same. The stealer wants $25 for a tube!! Also, do you guys install heavy duty or standard tubes?

Good question! Not 100% sure. Bought the bike used with the rims already installed. The valve stem only has a nut, no rubber washer - so Im guessin its tubed?

Mines not tubeless and yes that tube will work. You can use the heavy tubes if you want but I just change mine to new every other tire. If a nails going to get you it won't matter much to it whether or not you have heavy tubes. And my brother-in-law has tubes in his with the smooth rims also.
