Thanks Mike, I will look at it tomorrow and see if that might be a possibility. I guess it depends how high I want to go with the chop.

I am going to drive over to a couple of the chopper shops here and snoop around tomorrow as well. What the hell are they doing? I know I have never seen a chopper roll down the street with one of our big *** stupid plates on the back fender. I just found out Alberta has 8" x 5" plates... WTF??? This just keeps getting worse. I don't remember BC's plates for my bikes being that big...

Nope, Heartland is out unfortunately. I have done almost all my other mods for about half of what the Heartland costs. Once I have the exhaust and tuner, it will be about the same. I like the Heartland kit but think it's ridiculous what they are charging for such a basic kit. If they were half the price, I would be in the garage mounting it on right now, lol...

I am going to do a search and see if I can find some pics of their fender with the built in plate though and have a look at it. You happen to have a link incase I can't find one?

Here's a link you might find usefull. It has a plate mount very similar to Heartland but unfortunetly around the same price: http://www.russwernimont.com/store/p...products_id=83

If you can not find what you want, or are thinking of a custom setup for under/on the fender, I'm interested in helping. I may be able to keep costs manageable. Besides, it won't cost you anything to have me whip up some possible designs. Let me know, send me a PM or direct email.
